Modern Jive Weekend Workshops

Our modern jive workshops run throughout the year in various locations and are held primarily at the weekends.

These intensive workshops usually run over 3-5 hours, the atmosphere is very relaxed and is also an excellent way to improve your dancing in a very short space of time.

With a small number of dancers on a workshop, (up to 16 couples) teachers are able to spend time with individuals helping to develop basic style and technique giving an opportunity for one to one tuition.

Private Workshops

Our aim with a Private Workshop is "to provide an intimate dance workshop with a private lesson feel".

Many of us would like to have private one-to-one lessons with a dance teacher but it could work out quite costly.  On the flip side a number of dancers have said that they have been on workshops where there have been about 20 - 30 couples and it really is the same as being in a class with no individual attention.

Therefore our Private Workshop will only have approximately 6 - 8 couples on each afternoon thus guaranteeing you even move individual attention from the teachers.

All weekend workshops need to be booked in advance so we can gender balance as well as limiting the numbers, thus ensuring the best possible quality of tuition.

Bookings can be made as couple or an individual, couples will also have the choice to stay together or move around with the rest of the class.

Examples of the weekend workshops
